Outdoor Spaces That Work as Hard as They Look

Hardscaping transforms your outdoor space from ordinary to exceptional. G&S Restoration Group designs and installs paver patios, stone walkways, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, and fire features using premium materials and time-tested installation methods.

Every hardscape project starts with a proper base — compacted gravel, proper drainage slopes, and the right bedding material. That’s what separates a patio that lasts 30 years from one that shifts and settles in three. We don’t skip steps.

What We Handle

Paver Patios

Interlocking concrete and natural stone patios in any shape, size, or pattern. Herringbone, running bond, basketweave, and custom designs.

Stone Walkways

Flagstone, bluestone, and paver walkways connecting your home to garden, pool, garage, or outdoor living areas.

Paver Driveways

Heavy-duty paver driveways rated for vehicle traffic. More durable than asphalt, easier to repair than concrete, and far more attractive.

Retaining Walls

Structural and decorative retaining walls — segmental block, natural stone, or poured concrete. Proper drainage and engineering on every wall.

Outdoor Steps & Landings

Stone, paver, and concrete steps with proper footings, drainage, and non-slip surfaces. ADA-compliant options available.

Fire Pits & Outdoor Kitchens

Built-in fire pits, pizza ovens, outdoor kitchen islands, and seating walls that extend your living space outdoors year-round.

Frequently Asked Questions

Pavers or concrete — which is better?
Pavers are more expensive upfront but easier to repair (replace individual units vs. patch), handle freeze-thaw better (flex instead of crack), and offer more design options. Concrete is more affordable for large areas and delivers a clean, modern look. We install both and can help you decide.
A properly installed paver patio lasts 25-50 years. The pavers themselves are virtually indestructible — it’s the base and drainage that determine longevity. That’s why we never skip the compacted gravel base step.
Minimal. We recommend reapplying polymeric sand every 3-5 years and sealing every 2-3 years for optimal appearance. Occasional weed removal between joints. Compared to a wood deck, maintenance is trivial.
Usually yes. We work with all major paver manufacturers and can source matching or complementary pavers for extensions and repairs. If an exact match isn’t available, we’ll design a border or transition that makes it look intentional.
